The Clerk’s primary focus is processing the donations received at our busy Thrift Shop. The Clerk will sort items based upon quality and prepare them for sale in our Thrift Shop. The Clerk will price items and put them onto the sales floor in the appropriate locations.
The Thrift Shop Clerk assists in maintaining the store in a neat and orderly manner. The Thrift Shop Clerk operates the cash register in a professional manner, maintains proper money handling procedures and completes sales for our customers.

The Building Maintenance is a “jack-of-all-trades” general handyperson who will work to keep the MGCC running in top operational condition and will have an excellent working knowledge of all areas of building maintenance.
This person will need to be versatile, creative and flexible in order to keep our 100+ year-old building looking good, on a budget! There is no “typical” day, you may be painting stairs; fixing concrete steps; replacing drywall; changing light bulbs; fixing a door knob; replacing vacuum parts or mowing the lawn.
The Marion Gerrish Community Center (MGCC) is seeking volunteer board members to join their active board.
Our mission is: To inspire involvement, by providing facilities and assistance, to organizations that give back to the community.
The MGCC is a 501C3, nonprofit organization created in 1972, we do not receive funding from the Town of Derry.
We have over 120 different organizations, clubs, groups and nonprofits that use our building for their meetings.

Sunday doors open at 3:30, games start at 6:00 p.m.

We offer rooms for non-profit groups to use on a donation basis and we rent our rooms for private functions. For a basic room rental the cost is $55, for four hours, during normal operating hours. Room one has a full kitchen and the rental fee for this room is $110, for four hours, during normal operating hours. Our rates double on Saturday evening and Sundays.

Movies are held on the last Friday of every month (except for November & December) a new movie is featured free of charge at 12:00pm. Popcorn & soda is served.
