Thrift Shop Clerk / Sorter

This is a part-time position at the Marion Gerrish Thrift Shop. Estimated 30.5 hours per week; anticipated schedule will be Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am–3:00 pm and Sat. 9-4 pm (Saturdays are required; however hours to be determined upon the needs of Thrift Shop

FREE TAX PREPARATION ENDS ON APRIL 13, 2017

Where: Marion Gerrish Community Center
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning February 2nd thru April 13th
Time: 10AM to 3:00PM.
No appointment necessary, first come first served basis.
Cost: Free
Who is eligible: Low and middle-income, with special attention to those age 60 and older can have their income tax returns prepared free of charge.
(No business owners or wage earners over $100K)

Meals on Wheels serves their congregate meals at the Center. Seniors enjoy Wii bowling, tennis, boxing and other Wii games on a daily basis. Call to make a lunch reservation and join the fun!

Senior Monthly Movie Afternoons

Movies are held on the last Friday of every month (except for November & December) a new movie is featured free of charge at 12:00pm. Popcorn & soda is served.

State Representative Mary Griffin and Senator Kelly Ayotte joined the Marion Gerrish Community Center’s bingo operator, Paul Bissonnette on Monday, August 29 at Community Bingo Center in Manchester, NH. The Marion Gerrish Community Center (MGCC) hosts bingo nights every Sunday at 6:00pm and Monday at 6:45pm at the Community Bingo Center, 1050 Holt Avenue.

Do you NEED a PLACE to host your PARTY?

We have 8 individual rooms available for your private function. The basic room rental cost is $55, for four hours, during normal operating hours. Room one is the only room available that is equipped with a full kitchen, the rental fee is $110, for four hours, during normal operating hours. Our normal operating hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 9:45pm and Saturday 8:00am - 4:45pm. Our rates double on Saturdays after 5:00pm and all day Sundays.
